Recently, the Data Center Energy-Saving Technology Committee of China Electronic Energy-Saving Technology Association released the "Data Center Evaporative Cooling Air Conditioning System Operation and Maintenance Management" standard. CALITE, as a participating drafting unit, was fortunate to participate in the compilation of this standard. The main drafting units of this standard include Xi'an Polytechnic University, industry design institutes, enterprises, users, and others. Furthermore, in 2020 and 2021, the "Technical Specification for Data Center Evaporative Cooling Air Conditioning" and "Data Center Evaporative Cooling Air Conditioning Equipment" standards were released, respectively. Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the National Energy Administration jointly issued a document agreeing to launch the construction of national computing power hubs in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta region, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Chengdu-Chongqing region, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Gansu, and Ningxia. This forms a nationwide integrated big data center system including eight national hub nodes and ten national data center clusters. It will carry out collaborative construction of data centers, networks, cloud computing, and big data, serving as a strategic fulcrum for the national "East Data, West Computing" project. This will promote the orderly transfer of computing power resources westward and help solve the imbalance in the supply and demand of computing power between the east and west.
